By installing, accessing, or using the MatchMark Chrome Extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

MatchMark is a Chrome extension that provides AI-powered candidate matching and evaluation tools for recruiters and hiring professionals. The Extension analyzes job descriptions and candidate profiles to provide match scores and insights.

The Extension operates as a browser extension and integrates with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter Lite platforms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization. The Extension is intended for professional recruiting and hiring purposes only.

4. User Accounts and Subscriptions

  • Account registration may be required for certain features
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Subscription plans have monthly usage limits as outlined in our pricing
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will NOT:

  • Use the Extension for any discriminatory hiring practices
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the Extension
  • Use the Extension to violate LinkedIn's Terms of Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
  • Use the Extension to collect personal data for non-recruiting purposes
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions

6. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Important: MatchMark does not store or collect the content of LinkedIn profiles you analyze. We only collect minimal, non-personally identifiable metadata as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including all software, algorithms, and content, is owned by MatchMark and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension solely for your recruiting activities in accordance with these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

Important Disclaimers:

  • The Extension is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
  • AI-generated match scores are suggestions only and should not be the sole basis for hiring decisions
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of match scores or candidate evaluations
  • Users remain responsible for compliance with all applicable employment laws

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatchMark shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Extension.

10. Third-Party Platforms

The Extension integrates with LinkedIn and other third-party platforms. Your use of these platforms remains subject to their respective terms of service. MatchMark is not responsible for changes to third-party platforms that may affect the Extension's functionality.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may discontinue use of the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles.
